The Town of Hastings is located on the southern border of Oswego County. The town was named after State Assemblyman Hastings Curtiss. Hastings was the first town settled in Oswego County and today is the county seat. U.S. Route 11 and Interstate 81 both pass through the town. Traffic tickets issued in Hastings will be returnable to the Hastings Town Court. Court is held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4pm.
