The Town of Austerlitz is located in the eastern region of Columbia County next to Massachusetts. The town is named after the battle of Austerlitz during the Napoleonic Wars. Both NYS Route 22 and State Route 203 run through Austerlitz leading to plenty of speeding tickets and other tickets being returnable to the Austerlitz Town Court. Court is held twice a month on the first and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6pm. Motorists who have received an Austerlitz speeding ticket or other violation should consult with a Columbia County traffic lawyer before mailing in a plea of guilty.
